final ideas

Topic: Underground Comix

Timeline: chronologically ordered illustrations from Robert Crumb, "the father of" the movement

Map: image of the globe (flattened) explaining where and when underground comix were popular, heavy, and light users. (Looking at the movement as a whole.)

"x" : our "x" idea was having a map showing the comix rated in their content; a "explicit rating system"/"comix rating system." Ex: (image) except street level, underground, subways, more underground, and eventually the core. Going form "cleanest" comix to most "R-rated."

We really wanted to play up the "feel" of our design and create the "comic" style to our final posters.

We decided that next time we meet to come with research we did on our own time, sketches of what we would like to see happen with our posters/ideas, and document any good information or images we find.
